Catholic Charities Tompkins/Tioga-Office for New Americans, TST-BOCES and Tompkins Learning Partners will offer ESL classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 - 8 PM. 

Summer classes begin July 9th.

Travel

Join us tomorrow, April 3 at 3:30, as we discuss how to get around! We will share our experiences traveling on buses, planes and taxis. Last week Anne, one of our volunteers, led a lively discussion about health and medical providers. Susan and Anne did a role playing session of a patient requesting a dental appointment.  This was a lot of fun! We were so pleased to have so many ESL participants in attendance. We hope to see many of you on Wednesday.

Idioms

Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, March 13 at 3:30 as we delve into common idioms. We had so much fun last week investigating work related idioms such as "getting a pink slip" or "being in the red." This week we will share some common and some not so common ones. Our Facebook page has been filled with conversations about the meanings of English idioms as well as some from other countries. We hope that you will join us for our ESL Snack and Chat!
